Welcome to the junior chapter of Brunswick!
The JC Chapter of Brunswick – Die Wirtschaftsjunioren BraunschweigThe JC chapter of Brunswick (Wirtschaftsjunioren Braunschweig) is a federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs. Our chapter has been founded in 1977 and we consist of some 60 active members of up to 40-year-old achievers, representing multiple professions, occupations and skills. The active members are currently assisted by 30 JC Senators and JC alumni (Fördermitglieder). The JC chapter of Brunswick is part of the regional organisation of “Wirtschaftsjunioren Hanseraum”, basically covering the Northern part of Germany and a member of the German JC organisation “Wirtschaftsjunioren Deutschland (WJD)”. By this, we are an integral part of the organisation of the Junior Chamber International, which thrives in more than 6.000 communities located in more than 100 countries throughout the world. The JC chapter of Brunswick wants to enable and encourage its members to stand for the interests of the business world and the local economy. Above all we want to contribute to the advancement of the market economy reflecting social aspects and effectively matching today’s economical trends. For this we are organised in workshops realising a magnitude of different projects. |
Our current workshops are:- International networking- Training / Economy - Start-up (how to set up new companies and how to stay in business) - Internal matters International Networking: At this workshop we are dedicated to networking with both JC chapters and individual JC members on regional, national and international level. We take care of the relations with our twinning-chapters and have recently set up a project concerning the aspects and opportunities for our local economy given by the enlargement of the European Union. All members of this workshop have build up international experiences by either working in a cross-cultural and international environment or as expatriates in other European Countries. We are meeting on a regular basis and are looking forward to exchange ideas and share best practices with other JC chapters on an international level. |
